NINH BINH – CAT BA

Located in northern Vietnam, Cát Bà National Park is known for its endangered inhabitant, the Cát Bà langur (white-headed langur). The Cát Bà langur is one of the rarest primate species in Asia and the world. There is only an estimate of less than 70 langurs left! Conservation efforts are being put to place to protect the last remaining langurs. The challenging 9km hiking trail through the park  to the village of Viet Hai is best done with a guide. Take proper hiking shoes, a raincoat and a generous supply of water for the Viet Hai hike. This is not an easy walk, and best avoided during the wet season or after rain. Visitors will have a lot of chances for bird watching, sightseeing in the primary forest and Frog Lake.

After breakfast at your bungalow, check-out your room and go cycling from the center of village to Viet Hai pier. Stop to visit a local family to learn more how to brew rice wine. Then take an engine boat from the pier to Beo port, then transfer by cruise tender to Tuan Chau Marina Bay. Welcome aboard the cruise, refresh with our welcome drink while Cruise Manager briefing cruise orientation, activities & on board safety. The boat starts to cruising to Lan Ha bay. Then a delicious lunch is served in restaurant while the cruise is passing Chan Voi (Elephant Feet), Van Boi and Tra Bau area.
In the afternoon, start your first off – board activity, doing kayaking or swimming to discover Tra Bau or Van Boi. This is the most ideal paradise for swimming. Come back the cruise for relaxing. Enjoy our special dinner in the restaurant.

Greet the new day on the sundeck by doing Taichi with our cruise members. Light breakfast is served at the restaurant. Cruise further to Hang Sang – Hang Toi – one of the best attractions on Lan Ha Bay which is best known for its pristine and tranquil beatuty. Exploring the area by local boat . Check out of the cabin. Vietnamese cuisine brunch buffet is served at the restaurant. Then transfer by cruise tender in 20-30m to get Tuan Chau marina bay. Continue the journey to Ninh Binh after more than 3,5 hours driving.

Embark on a full-day tour of the Ninh Bình province. Explore the Vietnamese ancient capital of Hoa Lu to understand the history of the country in the 11th century. Visit the Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Temple. Appreciate the unique architecture. Delve deep into history and learn about the first Vietnamese government. Then take a bike to Mua Cave, Mua Cave one of the most alluring places to view in Ninh Binh, hike to the top of the Mua Cave for incredible views from the top. In the afternoon, visit Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Get on a bamboo boat for a 2.5-hour tour rowing through the majestic caves. Glide along the river, crossing villages, mountains, and lush rice fields. The scenery of Trang An is a unique combination of deep turquoise river water between mountains, water caves, and a clear blue sky. Then get in your car and head back to Hanoi.
