Nam Dinh is a coastal province in the Red River Delta region of northern Vietnam. The area is known as a cultural hub, with artists performing folk songs, writing, water puppetry and many traditional festivals. It is also stands apart from other places in the region for its Catholic population and distinctive churches, some of which have fallen down due to rising sea levels. The nearby Xuan Thuy National Park is a great opportunity to see and learn about the areas biodiversity. Nam Dinh is often mistakenly overlooked on tourists’ itinerary.
