Located in Northern Vietnam, Nam Dinh is a coastal province in the Red River Delta region. The area is known as a cultural hub, with artists writing, performing folk songs and water puppetry, and hosting many traditional festivals. It is also unique in the region for its Catholic population and distinctive churches, some of which are falling down due to rising sea levels. The nearby Xuan Thuy National Park offers a great opportunity to see and learn about the area’s biodiversity. Nam Dinh is often mistakenly overlooked by tourists in Northern Vietnam.
