TRIP ITINERARY

day 1: HANOI – HA GIANG – THON THA VILLAGE - BY A PRIVATE TRANSPORT - 305km

Your tour guide and driver will pickup you at 7.30 AM at your hotel lobby and will arrive in Ha Giang around 1:30PM. Then check-in homestay and enjoy your free time there by walking around to visit some local families and explore its landscape. You can also trek to Ha Thanh waterfall and enjoy the great view here.Overnight at a local bungalow.

day 2: THON THA – Quan ba - lung cu – DONG VAN - 180KM

After having breakfast, you will continue with your adventure, reaching Quan Ba twin mountain and Heaven’s Gate.Your adventure will continue to H’Mong King Palace which was a royal family of high rank during French colonial rule – this palace attracts keen interest from architecturally minded visitors due to its mixed style of European and Chinese architecture. Then visit Lung Cu National Flag Northern pole where is super closed to China border gate.Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van town. 

day 3: DONG VAN – Ma Pi Leng - NHO QUE BOAT TRIP - BAO LAC TOWN - 100KM

07.30 AM: start the day off with breakfast and a visit to Ma Pi Leng Pass to give you a chance to immerse in the magnificent and spectacular views. Lunch will be served at a local family. Before taking a boat trip, let start and warm up yourself today with a trek around stunning Spypath road to a Flower H’mong village where you can reach the peak of Ma Pi Leng mount. Trek through rocky mountains and you will be surprised of the local survival  on rock. In the afternoon, if the weather is nice, our driver and guide will then transfer you to Meo Vac where you will have a great opportunity to take a boat tour along the Nho Que River. That will be a great unique experience. Visit a Lo Lo village before checkin your hotel in Bao Lac town.NOTE: Please note that there will be rainy sometimes and there will be too much water in the river and which causes dangerous if we travel on the river under the heavy rain. We must skip the Nho Que boat trip and go walking to visit a White H’mong village on skypath on Ma Pi Leng peak.

day 4: Bao Lac - Khuoi Khon, a Lo Lo hamlet - Phuc Sen forging village - Phia Thap incense village - Nguom Ngao cave

Please be ready at 7:45am to continue your adventure to Cao Bang. It is a long drive today. En route, stop and visit a Lo Lo village, time to interact and learn about the ethnic culture of the Lo Lo tribe. Then move to Phuc Sen forging village. In the early days, the villagers produced weapons for the soldiers of Nung Ton Phuc and Nung Tri Cao to fight against the Song army.The incense craft of the Nung ethnic minority people in Phia Thap village is contributing to the preservation of a traditional spiritual culture. The incense making craft of the Nung people has a long history.Before checking in your homestay, visit Nguom Ngao cave which is a must-see place once you arrive in Cao Bang. The cave of 300 million years old is a valuable gift of nature spending for this wonderful land.Spend a night at a homestay in Khuoi Ky, a special stone village.

DAY 5: Nguom Ngao - Ban Gioc waterfall - Holy Eye Mountain - Cao Bang city

After breakfast, let’s get ready for our exciting boat trip in Ban Gioc waterfall,  one of the biggest waterfalls in Vietnam. Nestled amongst these amazing landscapes of Trung Khanh is the breath-taking Ban Gioc Waterfall, which spans over 300 meters, split half and half between Vietnam and China.Located in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda is the first pagoda ever built in the northern province of Viet Nam. Inaugurated on 15th December 2014, the pagoda was constructed on total area of 3ha, leaning against Phia Nham Mountain, 500m from Ban Gioc Waterfall.Before heading to Cao Bang city, stop to visit Mat Than or Holy Angel Mountain, according to the native Tay people’s voice, Nui Mat Than has the local name “Phja Piót”, which translates to a mountain with a hole, pierced through as if the wind blew from one side to the other. Then move to Cao Bang city to take a rest and spend a night here.

day 6: Cao Bang - Hanoi.

After having breakfast at your hotel, ready to go back to Hanoi. En route your tour guide will arrange a short walk around to stretch your legs.The tour will finish around 5:30PM. Please send us your hotel address to drop you off there.
