About YESD Vietnam
YESD (Youth Employment and Society Development) is a social enterprise that helps young people and ethnic communities in Vietnam. We were founded by a group of young Vietnamese women who wanted to support underprivileged youth. Since 2014, YESD Vietnam has been working in tourism, education, and community development in Ha Giang and other remote areas.
YESD Vietnam’s mission is to provide job opportunities for local people, train them in tourism, and promote responsible travel. We help homestay owners run their businesses, train local guides, and offer free English classes. Through these efforts, we ensure that tourism benefits the local people and improves their lives.

The Medical Project: YESynDrome
YESD and Discover Internships have joined hands for a special healthcare project called “YESynDrome.” This project focuses on bringing medical care to ethnic minority communities in Ha Giang. Many people in these areas do not have access to proper healthcare. This project aims to change that.
What the Project Does
The YESynDrome project works through local clinics and mobile medical teams. Volunteers provide basic medical care, health education, and prevention programs. They also help with:
