    What Travelers Say About YESD

Real stories from travelers who explored Mai Chau, Pu Luong, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, and Cao Bang with YESD through local guides, homestays, and responsible travel experiences.

An authentic and responsible Vietnam journey

We traveled with YESD Travel on a self-designed tour, because we wanted a well respected operator who also made sure that part of our money went directly to local families, guides, and small village projects.

We experienced daily life up close through homestays, home-cooked meals, village walks, and visits to local places, all set in beautiful landscapes from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh. The balance between nature, culture, and genuine human encounters was excellent.

Our guide, Anh, was highly competent and led the journey with warmth, humor, and professionalism. The homestay visits were fascinating, and the food throughout the trip was outstanding.

A truly authentic, responsible, and rewarding way to travel in Vietnam. Highly recommend.

    Sune

A family journey with memories for life

We did two trips through YESD: Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Ninh Binh and Ha Giang – Cao Bang.

Our trip looked like this: arrival in Vietnam → trip 1 → few days Hong Kong → trip 2 → Cat Ba → end of the trip.

We travelled with grandpa and grandmother and our family with two children aged 4 and 7. The trip actually went exactly as we had hoped. We were also able to adjust the program a bit to our wishes. Grandma, who has a bit of difficulty walking, sometimes skipped the hikes and then stayed behind with the children when they didn’t feel like it either.

The stays were quite basic, but that also had something. Sometimes in places with the most beautiful views. We also didn’t feel like we were coming to very touristy places, which we really liked.

All staff were super friendly and the contact by email was always quick and smooth.

All in all, this was really a journey with memories for life.
