Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at 7:30 AM at your hotel lobby and will arrive at Thon Tha village at around 2.30 P.M. Lunch will be served at a local homestay. You then check in your accommodation and start a short walk around the peaceful village.

This morning you can join the locals if you wish, helping them with their daily duties, like feeding the animals, cleaning the house, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll take a different route, trekking through the valley and then up the mountain linking Thon Tha and Khuoi My.

Your local guide will tell you some local stories about the unique Dao Ao Dai culture. You’ll visit Khuoi My village, located at the foot of the highest mountain in Northeast Vietnam. Here you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch en route, or again if possible, have lunch with a local family. After a short rest you’ll continue trekking and head back to Thon Tha village. If you like you can request a performance of a traditional culture show (Fee not included in tour).

Today will be your wonderful day. We will take you to different surprises. After having breakfast, say goodbye to your host and start your new adventure. For the whole day, you will be driven on ‘Happiness road’. Your tour guide will tell you a legend of Quan Ba twin mountain and Heaven’s Gate.

Also, stop at Lung Tam village to visit its embroidery cooperative where local women work together to create hemp clothes and various prods from this fabulous material. Now, it is time to head to Meo Vac town and honor yourself with the magnificent view of Ma Pi Leng pass. If it is not getting dark yet, your guide will take you on a small trek over ‘Sky path’ to see an overview of this amazing area.

Today we will stop by some villages to visit H’mong families and interact with the locals. It’s once again a very enjoyable ride today. You will see an amazing mountain view of the Rock Plateau. H’mong king, which was a royal family of high rank during French colonial rule is also in our itinerary – this palace attracts keen interest from architecturally minded visitors due to its mixed style of European and Chinese architecture. We will also stop by Sung La, due to its location which is light years away from modern life in big cities, it was chosen as the location for the award-winning movie Pao’s Story.

Since then Sung La has become a popular destination for travelers looking for something different and of course movie buffs. Then, drive to Nam Dam village and check-in your homestay. After that enjoy your free time there by walking around to visit some local families and explore its waterfall.

After your breakfast, please get ready for the last day of your adventure. Today, we will visit Lung Khuy cave which is a newly discovered cave in the area. To get there, you need to trek around 1.2 kms with stairs uphill. It will be a bit of a challenge but really worth it. After that, get back to your car and say goodbye to this legendary area to go back Hanoi.
