TRIP ITINERARY

Option 1: Sapa - Ta Van full day trek - 16km

Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa at 8:30 AM. Then, explore the Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages in Muong Hoa Valley. Along the way, you will have the chance to learn about the daily lives of the local villagers and their traditional farming practices.

After a short rest, the trek continues to Ta Van Village, where the Giay ethnic group lives. Unlike the H’Mong, the Giay people have their own customs and way of life. You will visit a local home, interact with the villagers, and gain insights into their traditions.

You will enjoy a delicious local lunch in Ta Van, prepared with fresh ingredients from the region. The adventure continues as you trek through a bamboo forest leading to the beautiful Giang Ta Chai Waterfall. This serene spot is a great place to take photos and enjoy the cool mountain air.

From here, you will visit Giang Ta Chai Village, home to the Red Zao minority. The Red Zao people are known for their elaborate, handmade clothing and herbal medicine. Your guide will introduce you to local families, where you can learn about their daily lives and customs.

The trek then takes you up the mountain to Su Pan Village, another Black H’Mong community. This final stretch offers stunning panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

After this cultural experience, you’ll be picked up and returned to Sapa.

Option 2: Fansipan - Muong Hoa - Silver Waterfall Excursion

Your journey starts early as we pick you up from your hotel in Sapa and head straight to the Fansipan Cable Car Station, where you will take a ride to the top of Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam.

Once at the top, you can hike the last few steps to the peak or take the funicular railway. Standing at 3,143 meters, you will feel like you are on top of the world! Enjoy the fresh air, take pictures, and admire the stunning landscape.

After visiting Fansipan, we head to Muong Hoa Valley, home to different ethnic minority groups, including the H’Mong, Dao, and Tay people. You will take a short walk through the valley, meet local people, learn about their way of life, and see traditional houses. It’s a great chance to understand their culture and take amazing photos of the peaceful countryside.

We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious Vietnamese food before continuing the tour.

In the afternoon, we visit Silver Waterfall, one of the most famous waterfalls in Sapa. Take a short walk to the viewpoint, enjoy the cool breeze, and listen to the relaxing sound of the water.

After a full day of exploring, we head back to Sapa town.

The itinerary is subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions.

“Sapa was at the top of my list of places to see during my visit to Vietnam. I wanted to see the stunning landscape with the terraced rice paddies and I also wanted to trek from Sapa to Ta Van. Much to my surprise, trekking was the highlight of my trip because I not only got to see the rice paddies, but I got to travel along the route with 3 of Sapa’s knowledgeable tour guides. These three women are members of the Black Hmong ethnic group and they shared, with me, some of their experiences along with their family stories. I will always treasure the time I spent with these wonderful women.” See more.
