TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang - Thon Tha

Your tour guide and driver will pickup you at 7:30AM at your hotel lobby and will arrive Thon Tha village at around 1.30 p.m. Lunch will be served in local homestay. You then check in your room and start a short walk around the peaceful village.Overnight in Bungalow Tay traditional style

Day 2: Thon Tha - Khuoi My full day trek

This morning you can join the locals if you wish, helping them with their daily duties, like feeding the animals, cleaning the house, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll take a different route, trekking through the valley and then up the mountain linking Thon Tha and Khuoi My. Your local guide will tell you some local stories about the unique Dao Ao Dai culture. You’ll visit the Khuoi My village, located in the foot of the highest mountain in Northeast Vietnam. Here you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch en route, or again if possible, have lunch with a local family. After a short rest you’ll continue trekking and head back to Thon Tha village. If you like you can request a performance of a traditional culture show (Fee not included in tour).Overnight in the same bungalow

Day 3: Thon Tha - Quan Ba - Ma Pi Leng - Dong Van

Today will be your wonderful day. We will take you to different surprise. After having breakfast, saying goodbye to your host and start your new adventure. For the whole day, you will be driven in ‘Happiness road’. Your tour guide will tell you a legend of Quan Ba twin mountain and Heaven’s Gate. Also, stop at Lung Tam village to visit its embroidery cooperative where local women work together to create hemp clothes and various prods from this fabulous material. Now, it is time to head to Meo Vac town and honor yourself with magnificent view of Ma Pi Leng pass. If it is not getting dark yet, your guide will take you on a small trek over ‘Sky path’ to see overview of this amazing area.Overnight in a hotel in Dong Van town

Day 4: Dong Van - H'Mong King palace - Sung La - Nam Dam

Today we will stop by some villages to visit H’mong families and interact with the locals. It’s once again a very enjoyable ride today that you will see amazing mountain view of the Rock Plateau. H’mong king, which was a royal family of high rank during French colonial rule is also in our itinerary– this palace attracts keen interest from architecturally minded visitors due to its mixed style of European and Chinese architecture.We will also stop by Sung La, due to its location which is light years away from modern life in big cities, it was chosen as the location for the award-winning movie Pao’s Story. Since then Sung La has become a popular destination for travelers looking for something different and of course movie buffs. Then, drive to Nam Dam village and check-in your homestay. After that enjoy your free time there by walking around to visit some local families and explore its waterfall.Overnight at a Dao traditional house.

Day 5: Nam Dam - Lung Khuy cave - Hanoi

After your breakfast, please get ready to the last day of your adventure. Today, we will visit Lung Khuy cave which is newly discovered cave in the area. To get there, you need to trek around 1.2 kms with stairs uphill. It will be a bit of challenge but really worth it. After that, get back to your car and say goodbye to this legendary area to go back Hanoi.End the tour in Hanoi around 5.30 p.m
