Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 7:30 AM and depart for Nguom Ngao, Cao Bang.

On the way, visit Phia Thap Incense Village, where the traditional incense-making craft of the Nung people has been preserved for generations. For the villagers of Phia Thap, incense making is not only an important part of their cultural identity but also closely associated with the traditional custom of burning incense in Vietnam.

After breakfast, continue your journey with a visit to Nguom Ngao Cave, a must-see attraction in Cao Bang. This 300-million-year-old cave is a remarkable natural wonder. Visitors can explore its mysterious underground world, filled with magnificent stalactites and fascinating rock formations, while discovering the intriguing legend behind its name.

The cave stretches for nearly 2,200 meters and features three main entrances and thousands of small chambers and grottos.

Next, visit Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, the first pagoda built in this far northern province of Vietnam. Inaugurated on December 15, 2014, the pagoda covers an area of approximately 3 hectares and is located against the backdrop of Phia Nham Mountain, just 500 meters from Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Afterward, enjoy an exciting boat trip near Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Set amid the sweeping landscapes of Trung Khanh, the breathtaking waterfall stretches across more than 300 meters along the Vietnam–China border.

Then, transfer to Ba Quang Grass Hill in Ha Lang District. This breathtaking natural landscape features carpets of grass that turn vibrant yellow before gradually blending into shades of orange, creating a poetic, flame-like scene across the hills.

Begin your hike through lush forests and local trails, gradually ascending toward the summit. The trek offers a rewarding experience with fresh mountain air, stunning natural surroundings, and opportunities to observe the daily life of local communities.

Reach Na Lay Peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the famous Bac Son Valley, with its patchwork rice fields, winding rivers, and charming villages surrounded by green mountains. It is an ideal spot to capture unforgettable photos and appreciate the peaceful beauty of northern Vietnam’s countryside.

After breakfast, continue by car to Quynh Son Traditional Tile Village, home to the Tay ethnic community, where centuries-old craft traditions have been preserved.

The village is famous for its handmade yin-yang clay roof tiles, which cover the traditional stilt houses and give the entire valley its distinctive red-tiled charm.

Stroll through the peaceful village lanes, observe the traditional tile-making process, and experience the authentic culture of this living heritage.

Then, return to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in central Hanoi at approximately 5:00 PM.
