SAPA 2 DAY TA PHIN TREKKER

A 2 day trek to Ta Phin, Sapa is a bucket-list item of many tourists in Vietnam. This trekking tour will take you to the beautiful Ta Phin, where you can visit the terrace rice fields, ethnic minority villages, local houses and schools. With the help of your friendly local guide, you’ll learn about the daily activities and culture of the local people as your walk through the landscapes that Sapa is famous for.

TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1: Sapa - Ma Tra - Ta Phin

Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa and you’ll begin the trek at around 9AM. First you’ll pass through Ma Tra Village, a Black H’mong community, walking through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery. You’ll also have the opportunity to stop by a local school.

We’ll then take a break for lunch in the village. After a short rest you’ll continue trekking, seeing local houses and visiting nearby caves. We’ll arrive before sunset at Ta Phin and stay with a local Red Zao family there who will prepare you dinner.

Day 2: Ta Phin - Trung Chai - Sapa

After breakfast we’ll continue our journey, off-the-beaten-path, to some more Red Zao villages located within the mountains. En route there will be many opportunities to take photos of the breath-taking scenery.

We’ll stop for a picnic lunch and a jeep will then take you back to Sapa. You’ll have time for dinner and a shower, before being driven to Lao Cai Station in time for the night train or sleeping bus back to Hanoi.
