TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1 (Sunday): Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Sapa

We’ll meet you at your hotel in Sapa and we’ll go directly to Bac Ha Town, located 110 kilometres from Sapa. Bac Ha is well-known for its colourful market, selling many different products. The Sunday market is open from 9AM to 2PM and is attended by at least eight ethnic groups that live in north Vietnam. We’ll also take you to visit the H’mong King’s palace, built by the French and Chinese. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a light trek to visit Ban Pho, home to the Flower H’mong minority. We will be invited to enter a local house to have some green tea or corn wine and talk to the family. We’ll then head to Sapa via a different route and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (or Lao Cai)

After breakfast, we’ll depart the hotel at about 8AM and take a quick peak inside the Sapa market, before heading to Cat Cat Village. You’ll pass by a beautiful waterfall and rice paddies and then continue onto Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black H’mong minority people. Here you’ll have lunch on the river and have time to explore. We’ll then walk toward the Muong Hoa Valley, stopping in at a number of villages before finally arriving in Ta Van where a car will be waiting for you to take you back to Lao Cai or Sapa depending on your onward travel.
